Pergolas Ireland

New Chapter Homes pergolas are built from premium aluminium — the material of choice for modern outdoor living in Ireland. Aluminium does not rust, rot or warp, making it ideally suited to the Irish climate, where rain, humidity and salt air test every outdoor product.

Unlike timber, which requires regular painting, staining and sealing to withstand Irish weather, aluminium is inherently low-maintenance. A periodic wash is all that is needed to keep your pergola looking like new for years. Powder-coated finishes provide a durable, weather-resistant surface that retains its colour and appearance over time.

The strength of aluminium allows for clean, contemporary architectural lines and the integration of adjustable louvre systems, LED lighting, side screens and motorised components. The result is a permanent, premium structure that complements modern homes, gardens and commercial spaces — residential and commercial applications alike.

A motorised pergola takes the louvred roof concept and adds electric operation. Rather than manually adjusting each louvre, a motorised system opens and closes the roof at the touch of a button — via a remote control, wall switch or smart home integration.

Motorised operation is particularly valuable for larger pergolas, where manual adjustment would be impractical, and for commercial installations where ease of use is essential. The convenience of adjusting the roof without leaving your seat — or the cooking area — is a genuine quality-of-life improvement.

Available options may include motorised louvred roof operation. Talk to our team about the motorised configurations we offer and which is right for your space.

A pergola can transform how you use your garden or patio. Whether you have a compact city courtyard, a suburban patio or a large rural garden, a pergola defines a structured outdoor room for dining, entertaining and relaxing.

Common garden and patio applications include patio shading and shelter, outdoor dining areas, entertainment zones, garden focal points, hot-tub and lounge areas, and covered pathways between garden structures. A pergola can be freestanding in the garden or wall-mounted against the house, extending your indoor living space outdoors.

For gardens with an existing garden room or pod, a pergola is a natural companion — the garden room provides year-round enclosed comfort, while the pergola defines an open-air living and dining space beside it.

New Chapter Homes pergolas start from €8,000.
