New Chapter Specifications

How our homes are built — construction, insulation, foundations, delivery and certification — with a side-by-side specification comparison across all three models.

Factory-built for the Irish market, with applicable products and components supported by European conformity documentation, and installed turnkey on your site in days.

Construction & Build Quality

Every New Chapter home is built in factory conditions — not on an open site. Frames, insulation, electrics, plumbing and interior finishes are all fitted under controlled conditions, then the completed unit is delivered and installed on your site in days. The result is a tighter, more consistent build than traditional site construction, with far less weather delay and waste.

All units are designed for year-round living, with applicable products and components supported by European conformity documentation where required, and built to year-round residential insulation spec, not summerhouse spec.

Insulation & Year-Round Comfort

Our homes are insulated to residential specification for year-round living — walls, floor and roof. That means comfortable winter use without expensive heating, and cool summer use without air conditioning. The factory-built envelope is tighter than a traditional build, so there is less heat loss and lower running costs.

Foundations

New Chapter homes sit on ground screw pile foundations — a fast, low-disruption alternative to poured concrete. Screws are driven into the ground without excavation, so there is minimal mess, no curing time, and no damage to established gardens. They also perform well on sloping or uneven ground.

Delivery & Installation

Each unit is delivered turnkey, nationwide. Factory manufacture takes 3–8 weeks depending on the model; on-site installation is completed in one to two days, with handover shortly after. Because the build happens in the factory, your site is only disturbed for days, not months.

Certification & Compliance

All New Chapter units incorporate products, materials and components supported by applicable European conformity and CE documentation where required. A permanent residential dwelling is designed and technically documented for compliance with applicable Irish Building Regulations and Building Control requirements. We handle certification and compliance as part of the turnkey package.
