From the Workshop Floor: A Real Build, in Real Time

No studio lights, no script — just the sound of the saw and a pod taking shape. This is what a New Chapter build actually looks like, sent straight from the floor.

The Bit You Don't Usually See

Most of what we do happens behind a roller door in Co. Kildare. No cameras, no commentary — just joiners, sparks, and the steady rhythm of a build coming together. We thought it was time you saw it.

A client sent us this clip on a Monday afternoon. By Tuesday morning, we'd watched it a dozen times. There's something about it — the raw hum of the workshop, the framing mid-flight — that says more about who we are than any brochure ever could.

So here it is, unedited, exactly as it arrived.

Why We Love Footage Like This

It's honest. It shows the joins before they're sanded, the insulation before the cladding hides it, the bones of a building before it wears its skin. That's the work — and we're proud of every unfinished corner in it.

The capsule in this clip is headed for a garden somewhere in Leinster. By the time it arrives, you won't see any of this. You'll see a finished room, warm and quiet, doors closing with that satisfying weight. But this — the sawdust and the scaffolding — is where the chapter actually begins.

Send Us Your Builds

We collect these moments. If you're a client, a tradesperson, or just someone with a phone and a good view of the work, send it our way — we'd love to feature the next one here.

Tell us your story — or just send the video. We'll know what to do with it.
